KICK START: BACK-TO-SCHOOL BASH

Your Support Can Change Lives—Join Us as a Sponsor!

Dear Future Sponsor,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am reaching out on behalf of Youth Development, a dedicated 501(c)(3) organization, in partnership with A. Philip Randolph Institution (APRI) and BYCE Inc. to invite you to support a transformative event for our community.

On August 2, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, we will be hosting a free, community-driven youth development event at 5040 Bellfort St, Houston, TX 77033, directly across from Bastin Elementary School. This event will provide local families with essential resources, interactive activities, and scholarship opportunities—all designed to uplift and inspire the youth in our area.

We are looking for sponsors to support one of the event’s key sections, ensuring participants have access to valuable experiences. The sponsorship options include:

  • School Supply Tent (providing essential supplies for students)

  • Cooling Area Tent (offering relief from the summer heat)

  • Arts and Craft Tent (encouraging creativity and skill-building)

  • Food Section Area (helping nourish attendees)

  • Bubble Zone Area (creating an interactive play space)

  • Game Truck Area (offering entertainment for young participants)

  • Barber Cutting Hair Area (providing free haircuts)

  • Sign-In Tent (helping organize the flow of guests)

  • Porta Potty Area (ensuring accessible restrooms)

Why Sponsor?

By sponsoring a section, you will:

✔ Gain visibility—Your name/business will be featured in our social media promotions (targeting 100K+ online views), door-to-door flyer campaign (reaching 1,500+ homes), and event signage.

✔ Be recognized—Sponsors will be promoted on event T-shirts, our website, and station banners, with the section named after the sponsor. You may also submit promotional materials to be displayed at your sponsored area.

✔ Make a lasting impact—Help Houston families receive much-needed resources while supporting youth engagement.

✔ Scholarship Opportunity—Sponsors may fund a $250 scholarship for eligible youth (ages 16-24) who win a game at the Arts and Craft Tent.

With Bastin Elementary’s 660+ students and the surrounding families actively engaged in our community efforts, this event presents a prime opportunity to create meaningful change while expanding your brand’s reach.

I would love to discuss this further and help you find the perfect sponsorship level that fits your organization’s values.

Let’s work together to inspire and uplift Houston’s youth! Please reply or call 832-921-5193 to confirm your sponsorship. We sincerely appreciate your time and consideration.

Best regards,

Steven Groves & Mary Groves
